Why We Exist
Conflict is the main cause for humanitarian needs. Protracted violence is forcing people to flee from their homes, denying them access to adequate food and access to social services; and denying them the right to means of making a decent living. Human beings are denied to live in places of their choice, their cradle land, a place they call home. Droughts, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters are also creating humanitarian crises. In some situations, humanitarian needs may fall, but there still remains significant need to support communities’ to live decent lives. In the mean time, over 170 million people in 24 most vulnerable countries
